About our mission

Voices for Justice is a local volunteer organization and interfaith coalition whose mission is to promote fairness, moral rightness, and the lawful treatment of all refugees, migrants and immigrants through peaceful education, community engagement and action.

V4J emanated from a community of faith who believes in the sacred worth, dignity and rights of all people because all people are created in God's image - "Imago Dei”.

We welcome volunteers to participate in any way, including distributing materials, donating gift cards, food and other items, attend events, offer legal assistance and more.

We offer

“Know Your Rights” cards and other resources, engage in the community with presentations and events, and take action in support of our immigrant neighbors.

We welcome

volunteers to distribute materials, donate or deliver food and clothes, provide translation support, help connect with legal assistance, attend events and more.

Hackettstown and the surrounding areas have become a destination for the “tired and poor” seeking a better life and our town is now alive with new restaurants, shops, churches, and more. Let’s continue to thrive together.
